Hulky Hino 4x4 unveiled

We got the call mid-February from Chris Cunard, owner of ACM (Auckland Coach Motorhomes) the luxury motorhome manufacturers based in Māngere, Auckland, inviting us to check out the latest custom-built Platinum motorhome that was finished and ready for the client to collect in a few days.

Finding a sunny day was challenging but we got ourselves to the factory a few days later, and I admit my jaw hit the driveway when we first viewed the beast out front – holy heck a Hino truck base, and it’s huge!

We jumped in the cab with Chris. That is an exaggeration; I humphed and stretched as I endeavoured to climb up the access steps into the cab, completely missing the first one in the middle of the big wheel – which would have been super helpful. The Rock got a butt-full on camera that I will probably cut out of the video – or not, you will have to watch and see…

The cab is a three-seater with two luxury leather seats – heated as well
