Luxury Aussie off-roader

Stopping in Ashburton recently saw us meet up with Branch Manager Danny King from D&E Outdoors. We first met Danny at the Covi Motorhome show in 2019 when he came up to proudly display the first of the JB Caravans D&E Outdoors began importing from the Melbourne-based manufacturer in 2018.

Meeting in a local reserve area gave Danny the opportunity to really showcase the off-road abilities of this particular JB Scorpion Sting Air caravan. This is a full off-road model with luxury interior, built with Meranti wood framework and aluminium exterior cladding. This type of construction is common in caravans that will be expected to take a bit of a beating – up and down hillsides perhaps, certainly through a water course or two, and able to be towed off the road onto the soft dirt and come back on again safely when avoiding
