HUEY MALONE, 2022 NAC and Three Nations welterweight champion, made a winning return when England took on Germany in Schwerin.

The 21-year-old volume puncher had been kept out by injury since outpointing Sean Spence (Scotland) in the Three Nations final in Cardiff last May.

Malone, who’s trained by his father Brendan at Christ The King ABC in Coventry, in Germany – and took all of a couple of seconds to announce he was back! At the opening bell, Malone raced from his corner, shaped to throw a right and then fired a corkscrew left threw Botikali’s guard, knocking the German’s head back.
