West of Scotland

You have explained the geography of the West of Scotland incorrectly in your news item about CalMac’s new ferries. Kennacraig is a long way south and is the mainland port for Islay. Uig is not a mainland port, but can be reached from the mainland using the Skye bridge or via two ferry routes, at Mallaig and Glenelg.

Although popularly known as the Uig triangle, the triangle is no longertwo ferries on the service. I enjoy your coverage, especially of ferry services.
