Blazing Rangers

The NES is best remembered today for its sprawling platform adventures and groundbreaking Japanese RPGs, but the early success of the Famicom in Japan was built on conversions of arcade hits like Donkey Kong, Kung-Fu Master and Xevious. Those kinds of games served as inspiration for Blazing Rangers developer Karu_Gamo, with Namco’s Dig Dug cited as a major influence due to the way the player builds the maze.
