What lies at the heart of a black hole?
Ben Jones
A black hole is an area that has so much mass concentrated in it that there’s no way for a nearby object to escape its gravitational pull. There’s no way of knowing for certain what lies at the heart of a black hole. Einstein’s theory of general relativity, however, suggests that at the centre lies a gravitational singularity. Here, matter is crushed to infinite density under the pull of infinite gravity. At a singularity, space and time cease to exist.

Irene Sadler
Many people think brightly coloured fungi are more poisonous, but the deadliest in the UK is the death cap, . It grows in grassland under oak, horse chestnut and beech trees. With its pale-brown cap and white stem, it resembles a few other mushrooms that are good to eat, which is why you really need to know your fungi when foraging. Eating just half a cap could poison you enough to kill you. It would start with vomiting and diarrhoea, followed by delirium, liver failure and a coma after several days, and death a week or two later. Immediate hospital treatment usually
