Dainty Cyclamen

CYCLAMEN are very generous with their seasonal treats. They surprise us with intensely coloured flowers as we move into autumn, delight us with carpets of intricate foliage patterns and then give us more brilliant flowers in deepest midwinter, as well as providing indoor colour and window box treats.

There are 23 botanical species offering flowers and foliage interest spanning many months. These include the hardy types Cyclamen hederifolium with its autumn flowers and Cyclamen coum that is the one in flower now. There is also Cyclamen persicum that is the source of the larger, blousier floristry types, for indoor growing.
