“There are moments when a garden comes into its own as a sanctuary – and they usually involve sitting”
ou could be forgiven for thinking that I am a fine one to talk about relaxing in a garden, since all I seem to do is witter on about what you should be doing, and when (well, perhaps not ‘should’, but certainly ‘could’). So you will feel vindicated when I confess that I do find it hard to sit still when I am surrounded by flowers and plants, trees and shrubs, lawns and water features. There is always something to do – something to enjoy doing
