ala Madani’s first North American survey, “Biscuits,” spanned more than (2005–08) series depicts cartoonish men in abject compositions, while in the series (2019–) “mother” is represented through bilious brown smears, enveloping an entire room in (2022) or collapsed on a dining table in (2021). Carrying on with sardonic motherhood theme, (2022) portrays idealistic, wispy cloud figures floating through blue skies.
