Note: Refer to the Fabric Key for the specific fabrics Kaari used for her quilt. Instructions are provided for machine zigzag (Broderie Perse) and hand needleturn appliqué, but they can be readily adapted to suit other methods if you prefer. Seam allowances of ¼in are used throughout for the piecing. Instructions are given for working from the printed Pattern Sheet in the magazines, but you can download the digital patterns from www.homespun.net.au and print them out instead.
