Here’s a little story about a German Bus that went to Norway, and then moved to England before settling in Belgium. It’s a tale of European unity to warm even the cold heart of Jacob Rees-Mogg.
If you’ve been a fan of Volkswagens for more than a minute, then you’re going to have a list of wants. Needs even. There will be a Porsche of some description on there (most likely an early 911 or 356). You’ll have something from the Type 3 period (an early Notch or Square for me) and, if you’re missing one of the coachbuilt models (Karmann, Hebmüller etc.) then you need to re-visit your list.
Amongst the inevitable variables that an examination of everyone’s list would produce, there’s one thing you’re certain to see every time. The one the classic Volkswagen world holds high above all others – the Samba.
