With my trip to the October 2022 Stafford Show split between two articles, this second instalment features two motorcycles that have been immaculately restored by Gerry Ascott. It was great to see such rare machines restored to lovely condition. Drawing these examples has given me a great insight into the early years of the Japanese motorcycle industry, an area of motorcycle history that has become increasingly fascinating to me.
