Q Where can I source parts for a broken wing mirror on my 2004 motorhome?
I have been trying to source parts for my 2004 motorhome.
I'm looking for one of the clip-in parts for the wing mirror on the right-hand side and also an air charge hose. I really would appreciate your help with the hose.
Apparently, many people just disconnect the heater element, but I'm told my hose is leaking.
I think I may be missing something in relation to parts as many motorhomes on the road are 30 years old. My registration number only shows up on certain sites.

A I don't have access to the Fiat parts system anymore but, if my memory serves me correctly, this looks like a heater hose from the radiator to the heater unit in the cab from a 2.8JTD engine.
You mentioned during our email conversation that you have located one for €179, which I would say is probably right. That is the sort of price that Fiat dealers would have charged, even 15 years ago.
You may have some luck with UK Peugeot dealers. These tend to support their vehicles with spare parts for longer than Fiat does.
If you can identify the pipe to a dealer's parts department and mention that it is for a 2004 Peugeot Boxer with the 2.8HDi engine, they may try to help. Some will not unless you can give them a chassis number for the Peugeot vehicle in question. The Fiat part number will mean nothing to them. Once you have identified the pipe in question, there are no variations. This pipe is the same for all 2.8HDi or JTD-engined Boxers, Ducatos and, for that matter, Citroën Relays, too.
The mirror is another matter. I assume that you mean the rear cover is required? If so, you will not find one without a manufacturer name for the mirror and, by the time you have done that, you may as well have bought a generic mirror head from a truck dealership.
There are a number of manufacturers that produce mirror heads for specific arm diameters. Your nearest DAF truck dealer or branch of Digraph,
