As you cradle your baby in your arms, you may marvel at how life will never be the same again. For nine months your body morphed and grew. Couple this with the strain of labour, and you can expect to see some differences. These changes are different in all of us. Read on for some solutions to typical issues.
YOUR HAIR
That once lustrous mane of hair, an unexpected surprise during your pregnancy, could rapidly diminish as your hair begins to fall out after you give birth.
On average we lose about 100 hairs a day. But during pregnancy this loss slows down dramatically thanks to increasing levels of oestrogen in our bodies. After childbirth, our hormones begin to regulate themselves, and all that hair starts to fall out. This usually lasts for six months after delivery, but for some women it can last up to 15 months.
