Scott Addict Gravel

Guess how much Scott’s Addict RC Ultimate road bike costs? It’s £15,999. Yes, I’m aware I tested a £13k Argonaut last month, but that bike was custom-built and Argonaut can at least claim a boutique builder’s economy of scale (or lack thereof). One pound shy of £16k for a stock bike is insane money.

I discovered this detail partly by virtue of being a tenacious newshound, but mainly by accident as I delved into the geometry for the Addict Gravel – the bike that seeks to take the Addict’s racing pedigree off-road.
