Last May, in an episode of the genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?, Sue Perkins reflected on the way her life had been about “propulsion and going forward”. What actually happened is that she completed two road-trip documentary series, debuted Hitmen, a TV comedy series with her lifelong collaborator Mel Giedroyc, and appeared on The Masked Singer.
