How to Finance YOUR STUDIES

Completing 12 years of schooling is a huge milestone – one that’s worth celebrating. You’re now entering the camp of adulthood, and this means it could also be up to you to make a plan if you want to further your studies. There are different types of financial assistance to help deserving students. These include bursaries, scholarships, The National Financial Aid Scheme, or student loans available at most commercial banks. TRUELOVE Edu spoke to KZN-born Siyabonga Nxumalo, a Continuous Improvement Specialist for an insurance company.

He holds a BSc Eng. in metallurgy and material engineering, a postgraduate diploma in leadership and management, and recently submitted his thesis for an MBA at GIBS. He was a bursary recipient from Hillside Aluminium in Richards Bay from Grade 9 until he completed his degree, due to excellent results.
