• Helena Bonham Carter stars as TV legend Noele Gordon (known as Nolly to her friends) in this biopic penned by showrunner Russell T Davies. The three-parter tells the story of what happened when the actress, who played motel owner Meg Mortimer in ITV for 17 years, was sacked from the show without warning or explanation in 1981. The cast also includes The s Mark Gatiss as entertainer Larry Grayson, a showbiz pal of the actress, and former star Richard Lintern as her co-star Ronnie Allen.
