Holding out a handful of hay, I squealed in delight as an adorable creature yanked it from my grip, gobbling it up with a content look on his face.

It was July 2017, and Matt and I had decided to enjoy a day out at an alpaca farm in Sussex.
I’d always loved these quirky South American creatures – their wacky hairstyles and facial expressions were priceless.
And as we wandered around the farm, happily feeding them hay, I was in love.
