Don’t tell anyone, but...

It’s amazing to think that Vespas have been in continual production for more than 75 years. Looking at the new 2023 models it’s clear to see there’s a real mix of traditional styling cues, modern technology and great colour schemes. Like most ‘Lambretta people’ I often wonder what Lambretta would be producing if it had survived in the way that the Vespa marque has.

One enduring part of readers are two-stroke purists it’s difficult to deny the attraction of a modern Vespa GTS. It’s a reliable machine to ride around the city and can also take you as far as you want to go in practical and stylish comfort. Modern electronics and technology abound, even keyless ignition exists!
