STAR PERFORMER

Afew years ago I finally shook myself free from serial ownership of diesel-engined VAG products. There had been a couple of great moments during this period, but for the main I had been driving machinery best dubbed worthy-but-dull. The nadir was an incredibly tedious VW Touran, which I fantasised about replacing for every single mile I drove in it.
