Labyrinth: Knossos, Myth and Reality
Although best-known as the legendary location of a labyrinth, built to hold the mythical halfman, half-bull creature known as the Minotaur , the palace of Knossos on, it was once the centre of the Bronze Age civilisation of people we now know as the Minoans. This new exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum - the first I of its kind ever held in the UK - will delve into the history of Knossos and its people, aided by the display of more than 100 objects that have never before left Crete or Greece,
