New Second World War and Holocaust galleries

FREE ENTRY IWM London, opens 20 October, iwm.org.uk/visits/iwm-london

Two permanent new galleries dedicated to the history of World War II and the Holocaust are set to open at IWM London following a £30.7 million refurbishment project.

Featuring stories from more than 80 countries, the World War II gallery will shed light on the global conflict that defined the 20th century. Among the items on display will be a deconstructedwill serve as a harrowing reminder of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
