Cherry RED

Having already owned a Corvette C3 for seven years, during which time a great deal of work was undertaken to get it fully sorted to his exacting standards, eventually Mick Yorke grew slightly disenchanted with the car and decided to part company with it: “Not long after I sold the car, I knew I had possibly made a big mistake and began to regret the decision,” he admits. “I guess my ultimate Corvette would have been a chrome-bumpered C3 model, but as fate would have it, I spotted a 1974 C3 convertible for sale, being offered by a dealer. I must confess that I didn’t really want a convertible, but the more I researched this 1974 C3 and its incredible build/restoration to race-car specification, the more it whetted my appetite and I simply had to go and take a look.”

Mick is quick to point out that he sees himself very much as a down-to-earth enthusiast
