ARROWS: PREPPING THE SHAFT

n the first part of this ‘how to’ series, we will be looking at the various processes that shafts have to go through before they can be used to make a set of final arrows. We’ll call this shaft preparation. Remember the old saying, “fail to prepare, prepare to fail?” This is very true of arrow building.
