Targets in showing and development

BENGALESE

SINCE I started writing monthly articles for this publication in 2011, I have often discussed the addition of crested Bengalese to my stock or the return of colours that I kept many years ago. For each variety, I have set targets that are based on results at the National Bengalese Fanciers Association (NBFA) Club Show, the NBFA Classic show or the Stafford National.

The first target should be relatively simple to achieve - the showing of a decent pair at one of these shows followed by a class win, best of colour win, and a place in either the champion adult or champion breeder
