Make Windows Better

WINDOWS 10 & 11

Add a shadow to your cursor

Before Windows 10, the cursor came with a shadow by default. If you liked this effect, you can turn it on in both Windows 10 and 11 by changing your mouse options.

In both operating systems, press Windows key+I to open Settings. Then, in Windows 10, in our screenshot below), then tick the ‘Enable pointer shadow’ box at the bottom . Click OK to confirm. The process is almost identical in Windows 11, except you have to click ‘Bluetooth & devices’ after opening Settings, and ‘Additional mouse settings’ rather than ‘Additional mouse options’.
