COLOUR AND PATTERN TAKE pride of place

My story

This house was in a terrible state when we first viewed it, but we both had a feeling it was meant for us, and there was plenty of potential, so we went for it. The place needed totally gutting so we decided to get the main renovation done before we moved in.

Luckily, Andy is a builder, so he did most of the work himself. We used some of the garage to extend the tiny galley kitchen, and as the original living room was so long, we stole part of that to create the dining area. We re-designed the bathroom to give it a spa-like feel and then plastered each room and put down neutral flooring.
