For 131 years readers of Cycling Weekly have been logging their miles and letting us know about them. Back in the early part of the 20th century our annual mileage chart was, other than a riding diary, one of the only ways to keep track of your mileage. And while we still print that mileage chart in the first issue of each year, there are of course many other ways to log miles and share our achievements with everyone else.

For some people it’s a case of the further the better, for others it’s simply as many miles as they can fit into their busy schedules,
