Gober Sosebee's Daytona Beach Winning Ford

Gober Sosebee is one of the many legendary race car drivers coming out of North Georgia's hills in the 40 and early 50s. He started his racing career on the many dirt tracks of North Georgia. His home base where was in Dawsonville. Besides being a racer, Gober ran a paving contracting company.

Gober bought his ‘39 Ford coupe off a used car lot in Atlanta in 1947. Gober ran his coupe around the dirt tracks of Georgia before making his first of four appearances
