GARDEN VARIETY

The owners of this California bungalow in bayside Melbourne expected a beautiful garden would be the icing on the cake when they found the right home. Here, however, the house dominated the block – not exactly an ideal situation as the family includes one child, a dog and a cat. Nevertheless, having searched exhaustively for a family home, they decided this was ‘The One’ after an inspection lasting only 15 minutes, and they purchased the property in 2016.
