Originally released on their 1989 debut album Bleach, About A Girl is more widely known as the opening track of Nirvana’s eight-times multi-platinum acoustic album MTV Unplugged In New, which is the version we are looking at today. The song itself is simple enough, largely following the Em and G open chords for the verses before moving to slightly more complex shapes for the chorus.
