Opening our golden wedding anniversary cards from family and friends, I can’t help thinking how far we’ve come since our wedding five decades ago, in January 1973. We started life together as husband and wife. But in recent years, I’ve transitioned from male to female – and we celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary this month.
