SPECIAL STITCHES
Picot: Sl st in 3rd ch from hook.
Single crochet join (sc join): Place a slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a lp, yo and draw through both lps on hook.
Slip stitch join (si st join): Place slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull through lp on hook.
Inverted picot: Ch number of chs instructed, remove lp from hook, insert hook in back lp of ch indicated, pick up dropped lp and pull through. This picot should hang down instead of being upright.
Beginning 3-treble crochet cluster (beg 3-tr cl): Holding back last lp of each st on hook, ch 3,2 tr in same st, yo, pull through all lps on hook.
