Fordson E27N revisited

I stated in the January issue that I have had a love-hate experience with my E27N over the years, regarding its starting and reliability, but not to be beaten I am doing my best to improve matters.

The ingredients for easy starting and smooth running are a supply of clean fresh fuel, a healthy spark at the plugs and correct timing. One would imagine that with all these factors in place it would be so, but this is a petrol/TVO model!
