BEHIND THE BRAND

AS Ikea prepares to open new showrooms in South America this year, it is launching a Latin American-inspired collection with products designed in collaboration with nine creatives from across the region. This is typical of the Swedish brand – right from the outset, it looked for design inspiration outside of its own team, first among the artisans of Småland, the rural province which gave birth to the company, and now from all over the globe.
