The Classic MotorCycle

Recycling centre

You’re never far from a Kempton jumble, with one taking place about every couple of months. Long established, with a spacious venue and successful formula, all those years of trading must be responsible for recycling a significant percentage of the world’s motorcycle output. Admittedly much of it in bits, but as a hobby its credentials must be pretty ‘green’.

Silverstone Auctions has come on board as a main sponsor for the Kempton events. The regular December date (this time, December 3, 2022) has become a special occasion when the jumble carries on as usual, but the ground floor of the racecourse’s main grandstand is turned over to the Classic Off-Road and Racing Show. This has evolved from the original, purely off-road focused show, into something for all tastes. A broad church indeed, and even broader this year, when club and group displays expanded into the floor above as well.
