It is perfectly acceptable to enjoy classic motorcycles without getting oily dirt under your finger-nails and, if, as an owner, you’re not practically minded, there is nothing wrong with finding someone who can do the servicing thing. Equally, it is acceptable to enjoy classic motorcycles by embracing the whole dirt-under-the-fingernails thing and spending hours rescuing or salvaging bits and pieces long past their initial pristine state.
