Tim Mundy has worked on Minis since the age of 13. In the 1990s he worked for Oselli Engineering and has been writing for MiniWorld for 25 years. He has owned more than 20 Minis and built two from scratch.
Upgrades
I have been building a 1275cc engine to fit into my Mini for some time and I am now at the point of choosing the cam. The engine block has been bored +0.060" and the crank reground. I will be fitting a Stage 3 head and probably a single SU HIF44 carb or twin 1½” SUs. Cam-wise I am thinking of fitting a Kent camshaft, probably
