I FOUND Bernard Archer’s letter (AG, 26 November) both inspiring and uplifting and all respect to him for discussing his health issues.

Despite the modern age, post traumatic stress disorder, along with mental health problems are still a taboo subject to many people. But I think those in high positions in the NHS should raise more awareness and encourage sufferers that being in the open air, working on the land can bring many benefits and result in both uplifting
