Chad Ehrlich is a relatively young Generation Xer who owns and operates the salvage yard Nobody Else’s Auto in Great Bend, Kan., and is partners in the regional auction company F&E Collector Auto Auction. He also occasionally reports on collector car auctions for Old Cars. Particularly in his salvage yard business, Ehrlich is very savvy at using digital means toward the success of Nobody Else’s Auto; he regularly posts Facebook Live videos and additional videos to his YouTube channel, Nobody’s Show, where he often posts videos of vehicles that are entering his yard, as well as interviews with interesting hobbyists. Each vehicle consigned to F&E Collector Auto Auction is also featured on its website and in videos.
Ehrlich took time away from his busy schedule to talk about the hobby as a whole from the perspective of an auction attendee and co-owner, and as a salvage yard owner.
