Do the HUSTLE!

One in five adults in the UK have started a ‘side hustle’ since March 2020, when the pandemic changed the way many of us work and made us question what other things we could do.

‘The pandemic transformed how we relate to work,’ says journalist and broadcaster Anna Whitehouse (@mother_pukka), who champions flexible working. ‘While lockdown didn’t actually bring many women greater work flexibility at the time due to homeschooling and family commitments, it’s given us a chance to reflect on what makes us happy and to be more confident about the importance of making time for those things going forward.’

With mortgage hikes and energy spikes also at the forefront of everyone’s mind – there’s never been a better time to turn something you love doing into a bit of extra cash, while having more of a healthy work/life balance.
