Peter Gray has devoted much of his career as a research professor at Boston College to the subject of play. He’s the author of multiple books on the topic and regularly writes about play for. He’s also an avid vegetable gardener, and while his research doesn’t focus on adults or on gardening, as a gardener himself, he can
