Find and contact businesses in WhatsApp

Lots of companies now let you contact them via WhatsApp rather than phoning their customersupport lines. A welcome update to the messaging app makes it easy to find businesses that offer this option and chat to them directly.

To use the new feature, tap the Chat icon in the bottom-right corner of WhatsApp’s Chats screen and select Businesses in the Discover section of your contacts list. You may be prompted to give WhatsApp permission to use your location, so it can show you local businesses - choose ‘While using app’ or ‘Allow once’ to stop it tracking you all the time.
