Check if an online service has gone offline
When you’re having problems accessing a website, app or your internet network, it’s useful to know whether the problem is at your end or caused by the service you’re using.
One of the best ways to find out is to check Downdetector (downdetector. com.au), which lets people report issues they’re currently experiencing with online services. Downdetector has now been integrated with the brilliant free app Speedtest by Ookla, so you can quickly diagnose if there’s trouble with your connection or if there’s a more widespread fault.
