LORD NELSON RETURNS!

aturday 9 July, at 3.30pm, 1907 Burrell 7nhp showman’s road locomotive No. 2879 - the final stages of a complete restoration only finished that morning - was unloaded from a lorry trailer and steamed directly into the display arena to lead the cavalcade of steam engines at the 47th Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle, Kenton, near Exeter. It could not have sufficiently finished to attend the gathering. was there to witness the unveiling.
