DAVID BROWN 780 BOIL UP

As regular readers will know, I cut my mother-in-law’s paddock occasionally. It’s about 1½ acres, so it normally takes the morning by the time I have collected the tractor and then returned it by trailer.

I usually use our SFV204 or the Fergie, which has the engine that I rebuilt. However, the Fergie was boxed in, and the SFV I discovered has a damaged steering wheel because of a roof section hitting it during a storm. So, I decided it would be good to give the David brown 780 a run now that we have recently sorted it out. Because of its narrow status, I found it would fit my plant trailer.
