These are the career paths allegedly (and fraudulently) followed by teenage runaway Frank William Abagnale Jr. over half a century ago, all while simultaneously cashing millions of dollars in bad cheques. Such was the outlandishness of his story – first recounted in autobiography – the world’s foremost filmmaker, Steven Spielberg, spun it into a crime-comedy vehicle for Leonardo DiCaprio in 2002.
