An Academy for Consistency

A national aviation academy for training aircraft engineers is needed to remove inconsistency and disparity between each state and territory on the way that engineers are trained and the training is funded.

This problem started in 2011 when the Certificate IV in Aeroskills and Diploma in Aeroskills replaced and the previous CASA basic exam model. It wasn't well understood or communicated, so aspiring aircraft engineers completed a Certificate IV in Aeroskills as instructed,
