Pile of Presents
By Linda Langes
Cut your favourite die out of a larger panel and add extra interest by shading the backing panel with watercolours.
METHOD
1 Fold white card 145mm x 210mm in half and run a 15mm strip of Avery Elle The Brights mimosa hearts paper along the bottom.
2 Die-cut Simon Says Stamp Pile of Gifts out of white card 130mm x 90mm, 10mm from the bottom.
3 Die-cut My Favorite Things Die-namics Happy Birthday ‘happy’ out of green and turquoise card and affix the letters in the top left-hand corner of the present panel.
4 Stamp My Sentiments Exactly Birthday Sentiments ‘Birthday’ underneath it in coordinating ink.
5 Flip the panel over, secure acetate over the die-cut area then add mounting tape around it, ensuring there are no gaps. Pile assorted sequins over this.
6 Apply yellow, green and blue watercolour paints to a piece of watercolour paper slightly larger than the mounting tape frame, let it dry then secure it
